(Hey, I am not crazy, just really in touch with my inner Trump). slave accountants and doctors.ahhh what a great game. go enslave a few Gnolam colonies! They make ok doctors/scientists too. What a great way to help your empire when you are short on cash and far from that Economic tech advance. I would love enslaving them for a racial bonus for money creation. I would SOoooo add Gnolams to my list of races. Gnolams are ugly little bastards, and the players who are die-hard enough to want them are probably too cheap to pay up! However, if we're going for aesthetics, I can only see the Khanate and the Elerians working as cosmetic DLC. Other races, and indeed other gameplay features, would be needed to justify this approach.

The Trilarians and their Aquatic trait are a possible contender here, but the inclusion of their Ocean-specific traits and a special Uber planet wouldn't be so drastic as to warrant an entire precedent of added mechanics. A proper "Expansion" adding new races and commeasurate mechanics, both in race picks and possible techs/interactions. Some peripheral races like the Gnolams (economy) or the Elerians (Military, with. The Terran Khanate, with its blunt-force military bonuses and exquisite leader voice work, seems a prime candidate for this approach. 100 Lossless & MD5 Perfect: all files are identical to originals after installation.

MoO III also featured minor races, or magnate races, who occupied planets throughout the galaxy. MoO III featured Antarans in the story, but their role as menace was replaced by the New Orions. While many stories involving interstellar travel feature planets already suited to habitation by humans and supporting their own indigenous life, some authors prefer to address the unlikeliness of such a concept by instead detailing the means by which humans have. MoO II added the Antares as a great menace to the galaxy as they would actively pursue players. Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars, which is a reboot of the franchise, returned to the original roster of ten with revamped designs and backstories. MoO III also added the concept of overarching species, suggesting that several races stemmed from the same origins such as the Saurian races, Grendarl, Raas and, from the original games, Sakkra. Master of Orion III took a different approach and retired several races, while also adding new ones. The original Master of Orion had ten playable races, all of which returned for Master of Orion II: Battle of Antares, which also added three more races to the roster. The races have their own lore and their personalities are woven into the behaviour of the AI. They all have their own Traits to give them unique play styles and have their own ship aesthetics to add visual variety during gameplay.
